A Message from the Lord

During the worship preceding this meeting, as we sang songs about being beside still waters and receiving the provision of the Lord, God showed me a vision:

The enemy is building up his forces to usher in the Horsemen of the Apocalypse that will affect many aspects of every government. God will not dispatch Michael to disperse the enemy for this must come to pass so that the prophecies in Revelation can be fulfilled and for God’s will to be done.

We must be attached to the Vine and guided by our Lord to receive the provision He has for us. Jesus longs to lead you beside still waters. Come and learn from Him! 

Third Seal

And when He had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and see a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the middle of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see you hurt not the oil and the wine. (Revelation 6:5-6 AKJV)

Following the Horseman of War is Famine. Revelation 4:7 shows the third beast has a face of a man. This being watches how mankind is affected by God’s hand upon the Earth. 

The Horseman of Famine has a black horse, which stands for sin and an attack of the enemy. He brings a severe shortage of food that leads to astronomical food prices. At the time this was written, it is estimated this scripture meant that a day’s wages would pay for a loaf of bread - the most basic of food needed to survive.

The oil and wine are two ingredients used in healing at the time this was written. Oil is also symbolic for the anointing and wine represents the blood of Jesus. Perhaps God will still be miraculously providing for His people during this time?

The Book of Revelation mentions an event during Daniel’s Week that could explain when the seal is broken:

These have power to shut Heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the Earth with all plagues, as often as they will. (Revelation 11:6 AKJV)

The Lord empowers Two Witnesses who are prophesying and giving testimony after the temple is built in Jerusalem. God gives them the power to:

• Cause a drought during the three-and-a-half years they are prophesying.
• Turn water to blood.
• Smite the Earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

The lack of water could cause a drought and limit the amount of food. If the water is turned into blood, how will crops grow? Because there was peace for a time, according to Daniel, this seal could easily occur one year or more within Daniel’s Week.

As the Two Witnesses appear, prophesying and giving testimony, what will your response be? God hasn’t changed; His ways are stated in the Bible. Jesus is the Word and to deny what it says is to deny Him. Much of God’s Word isn’t politically correct and is very unpopular in this world today. If we are going to be ready to be in agreement with God for what is coming, now is the time to begin:

• Learning more about God and His ways
• Learning to hear from Jesus and to strengthen your relationship with Him

When we are rightly aligned with Jesus, He will make sure that you are in the right place at the right time and that you are well equipped for what is coming. If you are in a position to begin preparing for increasing food prices, now is the time to begin. 

During the summer of 2021, the food prices will begin to increase sharply. The increase and lack of food will depend greatly on your location. This will eventually lead to a severe shortage when this horseman rides forth. We should consider the following steps:

1. Pray and ask God where you should be living. 
2. Pray and ask the Lord if you need to begin food storage.

Storing food may do you no good if you do not have a place to stay, if your house is foreclosed upon, or if a flood hits your town. We must be able to hear from the Lord to make sure we are located where His protection is for us and our families.

Fourth Seal

And when He had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given to them over the fourth part of the Earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the Earth. (Revelation 6:7-8 AKJV)

Once the Horseman of Famine is fully revealed, Death quickly follows for we see hunger is one of the tools used by Death to take one's life. The fourth beast is a flying eagle who watches how movement in the spirit affects all of the Earth. 

This horse is a particular color. The Greek word chlōros (khlo-ros’) means pale greenish yellow. 

• Green is prosperity and growth or in this case, a lack of growth and prosperity. 
• Yellow means anxiety and fear. 

There will be a lack of an ability to grow and prosper while fear dominates the world.

It is interesting to note the word “one-fourth” which is only “part of the Earth.” Since it is part of the Earth and not a percentage of mankind, it is likely that only some countries will experience the effects of this seal. The increase in the food prices will reflect what areas will be hardest hit.

When the seven-year peace treaty is signed, how will you prepare for what is to come? Don’t wait! The time to prepare is now. If we remain close to God and learn to hear from Him, then we will be ready.

• Jesus fed thousands with a couple of fish and a loaf a bread
• He turned water into wine

If we learn His ways now and learn to hear from Him, we will be ready for whatever happens. If we only have one year or even six months of food in our pantry, the Lord could use that to sustain our entire neighborhood for years! We can only receive miraculous provision when we are rightly aligned with the Lord. That is the primary survival preparation for every Christian.

Fifth Seal

And when He had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, do you not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the Earth? (Revelation 6:9-10 AKJV)

The full power of the enemy is now upon the Earth; the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. The beasts before the Throne have completed their job and no longer reveal what is happening. This seal is about the persecution of Christians who will die resisting the AntiChrist. When suffering comes because you confess that you are a Christian, will you continue to hold to His name or side with man? We are warned that there will be a great “falling away” before the Lord returns:

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first... (2 Thessalonians 2:3 AKJV)

If God’s Two Anointed Witnesses declare a plague where your brother, sister, mother, or other family members live and they are affected, what will your response be? Those who stand by their faith in Jesus may very well lose their lives. Right now, across the world, it is estimated that 13 Christians are killed every day for their faith. This number will increase dramatically at this point in time. There are two verses that may shed some light on the events that will take place when this seal is broken:

And they overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives to the death. (Revelation 12:11 AKJV)

And white robes were given to every one of them; and it was said to them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brothers, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. (Revelation 6:11 AKJV)

The “waiting for a little season” could refer to the rest who would be killed when Satan is cast down to the Earth at the Mid-Trib point. It may be necessary for Satan to be overcome and be cast down to the Earth; the blood of the slain will cry out for justice. The increase of the slain may be localized to the areas around Jerusalem at first. The rest of the seals, the trumpets, and bowls of wrath will give more information about what is coming.

Eager hearts cry out, hoping for a single word to confirm that He hears us. Yet, many times the only sound is silence. Over the years I have heard several reasons why God speaks to some and not to others.
