Conversations with God 5

Did you know that our thoughts travel as neural pulses in our brain at a speed of around 275 mph? No wonder it can be difficult to ‘catch’ what God is saying to us because He speaks to us through our thoughts. Journaling helps us to slow down our thoughts so we can connect with our motor skills and write them down. From this we can learn to slow our thinking down and begin to hear God’s responses to our conversations with Him.

Good morning Yahweh – the “Word for Today” is about beholding or focussing on Jesus and as we do that we are changed and transformed from the inside out. How do I focus on someone I can’t see?

Focus on WHO I am. My character reveals My Son – He is who I am. We are 3 in 1. If you see Jesus you see me (the Father) and He is in Me. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life and the life is the light of men and the light shines in the darkness and the darkness did not overcome it. I AM THE WORD, I AM THE LIGHT. 

Thank You Lord. Jesus You are the Light and the Word. Help me Holy Spirit to focus my heart, thoughts and intentions on the light of Jesus Christ and His Word. Help me to pray through You in tongues, releasing His light and his Word in me and through me. I’m so thankful to You Jesus I love You with all my heart.

I have loved You Sandra with an everlasting love that stretches into eternity I will never remove My love from you. You are mine.

Knowing and having a sense of Your love has an almost euphoric effect. All the issues and problems of life seem to fade and Your peace invades. It’s almost scary; like this peace is too good to be true – when will it all come crashing down? I almost feel fear of that happening and not being able to cope even with the thought of a crisis

I have already written your book, Your destiny has been established and as you trust Me it will continue to unfold I have a future for you and it is for good and not evil.

Thank You Father, thank You Jesus, thank You Holy Spirit 3 in one. Lord I commit my life to You and I yield my heart to You. All that I love and all that I hold close in my heart I entrust to You – Thank You that I can trust You in all things always.

 Eager hearts cry out, hoping for a single word to confirm that He hears us. Yet, many times the only sound is silence. Over the years I have heard several reasons why God speaks to some and not to others. One night, as I tossed and turned, I brought each of these reasons before the Lord, stating why each of them did not line up with who I thought He was. 

Words rose from my soul, pleading for Him to reveal why He has remained silent when a single word from Him would mean so much to so many. For the next few hours, God used things I learned about years ago and things I had just discovered to show why He talks to some and why He doesn’t, and in demonstrative ways.
