Spiritual Influences Upon Items

Video: Cursed Objects

A Deeper Level

I thought the two basic ways we discern good and evil was all there was to ‘discerning of spirits.’ I assumed that when the Holy Spirit had something important to share with me, He would show up and reveal it in a unique way. Just as there is strong meat when learning about God's ways, there are deeper levels to the gift of discernment.

Since the beginning of the year, the Holy Spirit has begun revealing when everyday objects like paintings or knick-knacks are tainted by another spirit. I didn’t even know that objects in my small town in America could be tainted! While we have heard about defiled or cursed things in the Old Testament, the enemy hasn’t stopped using this tactic just because we are more civilized. One story comes to mind:

Supporting Those Under Correction

Supporting Those Under Correction

Jesus sent a word, not just a casual teaching, an actual, “Thus sayeth the Lord,” on April 22, 2024. It announced the season we are in summing it all up with this final line:

Most of My Churches have gone astray. When you see the destroyer at your gate, Return to Me, says the Lord your God. Return to My ways and be removed from my wrath.

For the full message including some specific ways of how the body has gone astray, please see the video: “Passover Sabbath 2024 - The Coming Storm”.

Baptism of Repentance for Leaders

Should Leaders Receive a Baptism of Repentance?

Do not admit a charge against an elder except on the evidence of two or three witnesses. As for those who persist in sin, rebuke them in the presence of all, so that the rest may stand in fear. (1 Timothy 5:19-20 ESV)
Those called to lead the Body of Christ should be ready to turn from sin. If they do not, the consequences should be severe. When they see something in the Word of God, they should be willing to do it. If a person has taught others or been part of church leadership, we need to look to the Bible to see how and why a baptism of repentance should take place.

Purpose of Baptism

Video: The Purpose of the Baptism of Repentance

God brought us together to begin the baptism of repentance. Once you receive a baptism of repentance, it is the beginning of a journey with God. The act of baptism is a solemn pledge to God in the sight of others that you are willing to turn from sin.

But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him. Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.
(1 Corinthians 6:17-20 ESV)

What is a Baptism of Repentance

 Baptism of Repentance

It was a custom in Israel to be baptized by being fully submerged under the water, as a sign of repentance: It was a physical demonstration stating that you were turning from sin.

Water Baptism

Baptism

The word for baptism in the Greek language is baptizma. The word literally means “to immerse.” You do this by being completely submerged under the water symbolizing the washing away all uncleanness/sin. It is a total immersion, never partial. John the Baptist appeared and was baptizing people in water for repentance. This is only part of what a Christian baptism is about. Before we are baptized, we must have faith.

Receiving Relief from Attacks

VIDEO: Receiving Relief from Attacks

To remove attacks upon our health, mind, and finances, we must first know why attacks can come upon us. Not all health and financial issues are attacks, but many are. Some attacks are due to sin.

And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither has this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. (John: 9:1-3 AKJV)

Jesus and Passover

Video: Passover and what it means concerning Jesus

What is Passover?

Every year, Israel has a week-long celebration called Pesach or as most of us know it: Passover. Israel is commanded to observe this holiday for all time.

And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you. And you shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall you observe this day in your generations by an ordinance forever. In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, you shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even. (Exodus 12:16-18 AKJV)

11:11 - The Hidden Prophecy

The miraculous sign of 11:11 that so many are receiving is a message from our Lord about the Two Witnesses. To understand this message, we must first understand what the Bible says about the Two Witnesses, beginning with the Witness of the Coming of Jesus:

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes.  (Malachi 4:5 AMPC)

Before Jesus made His official debut, God sent a “Witness” to prepare the world. The Israelites were expecting Elijah to come from Heaven and prepare the way. The Encyclopedia Britannica speaks about how Israel looks at this event:
