Who Should Receive Charges in the Courts of Heaven

In the first Courts of Academy workbook: Courts of Heaven Foundations, you were placed before the Throne of Grace where Jesus is contending for you. You should be: 

• Learning God’s ways and applying it to your life 
• Confessing any sin that is revealed 
• Turning from that sin 

Doing this allows Jesus to remove charges and bring restoration into your life. Who is better than the Lord to handle things in the Courts? You should take advantage of this time of gentle correction. 

The way our team receives charges in the Courts is unique. For this reason, under most circumstances, we ask that people go through the Academy before taking this step. Petitioners should go to the Courts to receive charges when:

Our Heavenly Father is compassionate and has provided for His children, even leaders who have gone astray. 

And if they are bound in fetters [of adversity] and held by cords of affliction, then He shows to them [the true character of] their deeds and their transgressions, that they have acted arrogantly [with presumption and self-sufficiency]. He also opens their ears to instruction and discipline, and commands that they return from iniquity. 

If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasantness and joy. But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword [of God’s destructive judgments], and they shall die in ignorance of true knowledge. (Job 36:8-12 AMPC) 

This is from Elihu, the one who spoke rightly about God to Job. When an attack comes upon a leader, they should seek God and find out why the door has been opened to the enemy. They must correct their mistake for the attack to be removed. If they do not change their ways, the attack will remain. 

What Does "Soaking" Mean?

Have you heard the word “soaking” used to refer to time in worship? In a visit to the Secret Place, the Lord showed me what “soaking” is all about.

On Sunday, I had become so very tired in spirit and body. It felt like I was completely drained, barely able to lift up my hand. My mind was so tired, it was hard to put thoughts together. I retreated to my bed and put on my favorite worship music. 

As the melody washed over me and filled the room, my body relaxed. Usually a vision of the Secret Place would capture my thoughts, but I was too tired to even dance with the Lord. Instead I heard the soft whisper, “Just rest…”
