Before I understood the principles of God being just, I really thought that every Christian who really sought God would walk as Peter did once God’s glory was being poured out. Many have desired to walk in the anointing of the disciples like in the Book of Acts, especially Peter who healed all those who came into a shadow’s distance from him.
We are entering a time where the true disciples of Jesus will once again walk in His power and glory. When I read these words at the Agape Fellowship live meeting, the Holy Spirit said that was what this verse is about:
And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand. And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the Earth: and there were voices, and thunder, and lightning, and an earthquake. (Revelation 8:4-5 AKJV)
This happens after Satan is kicked out of Heaven. He is no longer there to hinder God’s saints. Great earthquakes have just shaken the world and when Christians cry out to their heavenly Father, their prayers come up before the Throne and He responds. The fire of the altar is the power of God that will cleanse the Bride of Christ so that she is pure and white. We see God’s voice thundering in the life of Jesus:
“Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I have come to this hour. Father, glorify Your name.” Then a voice came from Heaven: “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.” The crowd that stood there and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said, “An angel has spoken to Him.” (John 12:27-29 ESV)
Many thought it was an angel, but others thought it thundered when God said He would glorify His name. Lightning is the display of God’s power. The power will flow through God’s children as it did in the time of Acts. The Earth will be moved as His people begin walking in the fullness of His power.
The day the meaning of this scripture was revealed didn’t start off so well. In the morning, I had sought the Lord for an hour, but didn’t enter into a vision with Him. That afternoon, I sought the Lord once more. This time, He was instantly before me. I threw my arms around His neck giving a big squeeze whispering, “My Love, I’ve missed You so much, I would be here all the time don’t you know...”
The Lord hoisted me over His head, “I’m glad you’ve come Dear Heart of Mine, you have arrived just on time. They have come from close and far, gathered here at My call, to help you get into your wedding dress.” He set me down where I was facing away from Him. A big crowd had gathered outside the gazebo at my heavenly home.
This was the first time I’d ever seen another human in a heavenly visit, much less a crowd. “Why do I need help getting into the gown?” I thought. Turning back to the Lord I demanded, “Wait a minute, do you confess that Jesus the Christ has come in the flesh?”
He smiled as He answered. “Yes I do, now come and see, who has been waiting here for thee.”
I began by focusing on one person at a time. Though each person appeared to be around 30 years old, when I focused on them, instantly I would know who they were. It was like a hologram surrounded them, displaying them as they were on the Earth. The first person I spoke with was my mother-in-law and her husband. “Have you been testifying for me in the Courts of Heaven?” I asked for confirmation of what the Holy Spirit had revealed after she died.
“I have and will do so again.” She nodded.
There is a difference between interceding and testifying. I don’t know if our relatives can intercede for us because of what happened with the rich man and Lazarus:
Then he said, I pray you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father's house: For I have five brothers; that he may testify to them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham said to him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them… (Luke 16:27-29, AKJV)
When the rich man died and asked for help to be sent to his brothers, the answer was, “No.” For this reason, I’m not sure that those in Heaven can “intercede” for us. However, there is a “great cloud of witnesses” mentioned concerning Christians:
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us... (Hebrews 12:1 ESV)
Witnesses testify. Perhaps this is why we are told to do good and walk in love. Those we aid will give testimony for us in the Courts of Heaven, which seemed to be confirmed with this visit to Heaven. A couple of people had very nice things to say about how I impacted their lives.
I said a brief, “Hello,” to Grandma Della before focusing on a particular man whose identity shocked me. I did not expect to see my grandfather on my mother’s side. Ray served in the Navy and watched the testing of the first atom bomb in WWII. In his 50’s, he was diagnosed with seven types of cancer. Being a Catholic, he wasn’t encouraged to read the Bible in those days, but Ray must have known enough about God to realize he was in big trouble as he lay dying which caused him to call upon Jesus as the Son of God.
I sent a thought toward Jesus, “My Love, why are some dressed in white and others are dressed in their own might?”
The answer came into my mind, “Some are guests and those in white are the Bride.”
“What!?” Startled beyond measure by this revelation, I rushed back to Him, “There are guests in Heaven where they abide, who are not even part of the Bride?? Do you confess that Jesus the Christ has come in the flesh!!”
He didn’t even sigh as He replied, “Yes I do, and it IS Me. What else do you want me to say to thee? Remember the thief upon the cross, merely acknowledged me and was not lost.”
The story of the thief is very popular and one I am familiar with. He said, “Lord, remember me when You come into your kingdom,” and the Lord replied, “Today you will dine with me in Paradise.” I was not as patient as my Lord and sighed deeply, asking what it seems He knew I must, “I am so very sorry and don’t want to offend, but I must have a verse to fully comprehend. I will not go on with what may be in vain, so tell me now and make it plain.”
My mind was in such turmoil that the scripture slowly came to me one piece at a time: Luke....14….Seven...teen. “I’m so sorry My Love, but I will be right back, I must take a moment to see if this is a fact.”
I reached for my phone thinking, “Does Luke even have a 14:17? If this doesn’t line up, I am going to be soooo disappointed.”
And at the time for the banquet he sent his servant to say to those who had been invited, ‘Come, for everything is now ready.’ (Luke 14:17 ESV)
Many people relate this parable of the “banquet” to the wedding feast and those called to attend. This confirmed that what I was seeing in my imagination was true. I closed my eyes again and could clearly see the Lord.
“Thank You for Your patience, kindness, and love too. I now see that this is true.” I turned toward the crowd speaking loudly, “Thank you all for coming. I appreciate your support. I hope to see you again when I am back for good.” I waved goodbye and returned to the Lord.
“Thank you for gathering them today. I’m sorry but I don’t have much to say. On Earth they did not mean much to me, it is You that I long to see.”
Glancing back, the crowd was turning to leave, but one figure strode forth; an old high-school friend who had died when he was in his 40’s. The Lord had sent me to pray for him as he lay in a hospital bed. Tears rolled down his cheeks as I spoke what Jesus gave to me. His life-long flame (girlfriend) spoke against the healing prayer, claiming that surgery would be the answer to his healing. He died that year.
I ran to him, “I’m sorry that the prayer didn’t take, but I’m glad to see you here, that you have a place.”
He smiled, “My heart was touched with His love through the words of your prayer. It was what I needed to hear to make it here.”
Tears rolled down my cheeks. That was part of the “final test” the Lord had sent me out on before releasing me into ministry. It was nice to hear that the words of the prayer had helped him, but I couldn’t stop thinking that surely his renewed “flame” would have spoken about the Lord too.
“Hey, have you decided what path you are going to take,” his question broke through the old memories. As he spoke, I saw a road with three diverging paths on it.
“I didn’t know I was making one…” I mumbled, still struggling, trying to get a hold of my emotions. I whispered, “I’m sorry, I am still in a body of flesh and this is very hard for me.”
Nodding with understanding he replied, “I will come back when you are living here.”
In Heaven, what you think just comes out so words which I had no intention of saying spilled forth tinged with pain, “Surely you’d rather visit with your ‘soul mate’.”
He shrugged off the negative emotion, “Here there is lots of time to visit with all those you once knew.”
Giving a quick nod of recognition, I raced back to the Lord. “Does he have to come and visit me? Can’t he just let it be?” I whined.
“Many will come from far and wide to spend a moment by your side.”
I sighed, shaking my head, “Can’t I just go and hide? Coming to see me, I don’t see why!”
Jesus kissed me on my forehead, “That is why I chose you. You see it the way that is true.”
The mention of choosing caused me to ask, “What is this ‘choice’ that I need to make; is there a path I need to take?”
Jesus begins explaining about the different avenues in front of me.
Path One:
“You’ve asked for healing to remain in place, until you have finished the race. Complete healing I can bring to you, but the end will have much suffering too.”
Path Three:
“If you continue on as you are right now, then the end will come painless somehow.”
“What is the path in the middle of the two?” The Lord continued, revealing what lay in between the two extremes.
Path Two:
“I can guide the doctor’s hand to ease the burden as it stands. This is the middle path, which can lead to this or that. (First or Third Path)”
Shock rattled my thoughts; it was hard to focus on one thought the whole way through. The Bible tells us that the disciples walked in a level of God’s power that hasn’t been seen since they died. Until now, I didn’t know the level of grace and power that was connected to the way that they suffered. We will discuss more about this in a moment, but for now it was easy to see that I had made two conflicting requests:
- I asked that my death be painless.
- I entered the Courts of Heaven last week and asked for grace and mercy; to be healed from head to toe until my death.
The first question that came to mind was why was there a choice? Couldn’t the mercy extend to the end of my life? I was reminded of a scripture:
What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God’s part? By no means! For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy. For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the Earth.” So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills. (Romans 9:14-18 ESV)
God is Just, and He decides when and how to give mercy. We will talk more about that later. The answer to the Lord’s question was obvious, but it took time to frame it just right. “My choice would be to walk as I am now, and avoid the pain at the end somehow! But my Lord, if I need healing to come, to do the job until it is done, if more will become your Bride, through the display of Your glory they will stand by Your side; I choose to be made whole and stand in grace, despite the pain as I end the race. Only You Lord know what each path will do, so I hand this choice back to You. As You have said, so do I, not my will but Thine. Only You truly know, if healing will cause Your glory to be shown. If the healing is just for me, I choose for the end to be pain-free.”
The Wedding Dress
The emotional impact of what happened caused me to forget the point of the visit for a few days. Eventually, I began to process how the gathered crowd had helped me to be gowned in my wedding dress. There was a common thread for those whom I had spoken to and those who had gathered.
In the free book, Angels Believe in You, I share the account of my “final test” before being commissioned by God. Both of the people I was sent to minister to were present in this heavenly visit: My mother-in-law and the high-school friend. Though I prayed for them to be healed, both had died within the year. Until this point, a part of me had thought that surely I had not scored well on the test because of the results and that I had barely passed.
Now I realized that perhaps that prayer hadn’t failed but actually accomplished what the Lord intended. He knew what would happen with each case. There was a commonality among the two which I really didn’t want to see:
Both asked, “You have changed so much. How did you come to have such faith in the Lord?”
At the time, the only answer I had was, “I’ve spent time learning about Jesus.”
These responses are a demonstration of what my calling is and what my wedding dress equips me to do: I am called to help others see Jesus and to put their hand in His. My gift is to reveal the love of the Lord through the relationship I have with Him and to show His love to those around me. He desires to meet with His Bride in the visions of what the Bible refers to as the Secret Place. I am here to help the Bride understand and achieve this. The free online course: 501 Secret Place will teach you about it.
When I look at the words that the Lord has spoken to me, it seems painfully clear that I am not destined to walk in the anointing or mantle of Peter at this time. It was not only that more may come to know the truth if I did, but I also long to see all those who suffer healed of their infirmities; just by coming within 5-10 feet of me. It seems that I am not called to operate in this gifting at this time.
This doesn’t mean that the Holy Spirit will not work through me with the gift of healing through prayer, but it isn’t instantaneous for every person who comes near. We have seen many healed through prayer or by applying the principles in the free online school: the Courts of Heaven Academy to their lives. It isn’t through healing that God’s love and glory are displayed in my life.
There is more to learn from each of those I prayed for as I was commissioned into my place in the body of Christ.
My Mother-In-Law
As is often the case, the relationship was not good with my husband’s mother. I had left her home in tears so many times that my husband forbade me to bring the grandkids to visit without him. He wasn’t happy with my determination to go and help her as she was bedridden, but allowed me to do as I felt I must.
But I say to you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which spitefully use you. (Luke 6:27-28 AKJV)
God always has a reason for the instructions He gives. When you follow the instructions in this verse, it will be used as testimony in the Courts of Heaven. This will allow the Lord to refute charges that the enemy brings against you.
High School Friend
On the way to the hospital, I asked if I could pray for my friend to be healed. In a clear vision, the Lord said, “Show him My love.” The love of the Lord for my friend came into my heart at that moment. When I prayed, His presence filled the room. Besides the tears, there was no visible sign that God’s will had been done. My friend wasn’t instantly healed. Because my goal for healing dominated my thoughts, it seemed to me that I failed.
We must always remember that God has a plan. We may not see how actions are used by Him. It may challenge our faith when we pray for someone and don’t see the results WE want. I hope you will consider that the words filled with His love may have been more important than the instant miraculous healing.
Peter's Anointing
We should remember there were thousands of Christians and only one Peter. There are many types of mantles; some for healing, some for wisdom, some for prophecy, and even some for revelation of God in heavenly visits. Only Jesus operated in the fullness of every type of mantle or anointing. All were healed through Him; He saw what the Father was doing in Heaven as He visited His Father in Heaven. He was the greatest Prophet and He had all wisdom.
For the rest of mankind, we see through the disciples that none of them operated in all of these aspects. John prophesied in the Book of Revelation. Paul revealed the wisdom of God and taught through many books of the New Testament. John the Baptist helped draw people back to God to ready them for the coming of the Lord, but miracles did not abound from his ministry. How many will operate in Peter’s anointing in the coming years, only God knows.
When the Lord spoke about the three paths before me, I knew that the disciples who walked in His power for His glory had suffered:
- Peter - crucified upside down
- Paul - beaten, stoned, and shipwrecked
- John - boiled in oil (described in historical text)
Why did the disciples of the Lord suffer so much? It is because God is fair and just. The enemy gets a chance to test us to see if we will deny God. The more God’s power and glory flows through our life, the bigger the testing, which may include physical pain.
The Lord was also tested and suffered. In the desert after Satan tested Him three times, he left to come back “at a more opportune time.” If we look to scripture, we can see when that happened.
When Jesus hung on the cross in great pain and suffering, the voice of the enemy can be seen in the crowd around Him:
“...Aha! You who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save Yourself, and come down from the cross!” So also the chief priests with the scribes mocked Him to one another, saying, “He saved others; He cannot save Himself. Let the Christ, the King of Israel, come down now from the cross that we may see and believe...” (Mark 15:29-32 ESV)
Compare this to what happened in the desert:
- Twice Satan said, “If You are the Son of God…”
- turn stones into bread (satisfy Your own needs)
- cast yourself down from the highest place (glorify Yourself)
- The Crowd: If you are King of Israel, come down and then we will believe.
- Satan offered Jesus power over the Earth
- The Crowd: Come down and show that You are powerful enough to rebuild the temple in three days.
The tactics are the same and it came at a time when Jesus was suffering. What more “opportune” hour was there? Our Lord suffered as did all His disciples. We quote the scripture to appropriate God’s power:
Herein is love made perfect with us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, even so are we in this world. (1 John 4:17 ESV)
Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you... (John 15:20 ESV)
If we walk as He did, will we die with suffering? It seems that may be the case because it is also supported in the Book of Revelation:
And the Earth helped the woman, and the Earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. (Revelation 12:16-17 AKJV)
God’s people will escape the wrath of the AntiChrist, then he will pursue Christians. Those doing major exploits may incur the wrath of God’s enemy and endure pain and suffering. This is something to contemplate as we seek to walk in God’s glory as the disciples did. Are you willing to pay the price they did? All but John died a martyrs’ death by crucifixion, stoning and clubbing, stabbing, burning and such.
Our Father created each one of us with a specific destiny and job for us to do. He knows who will be ready to stand in faith in the face of torture. I hope you will spend time releasing all your desires, your ideas of what you should do for the kingdom to God, understanding that He really does know what is best.
Healing & Perfect Health
This is the outpouring where God’s glory abounds. If you have sought God’s grace and mercy, hoped to walk in perfect health or are struggling as others to receive what you desire, I understand how you feel! Please consider:
God may be asking you to walk in faith, as you are, so that you can receive grace and mercy later.
Our Father is all knowing. He has a plan that we may not see. We should continue learning His ways to see if there is sin blocking our healing, but we must also consider that healing will come when or if He chooses. Our love for Jesus and our faith in Him should not depend upon walking in perfect health. There may be a price for that perfection that we are unwilling to pay!
Heaven's Hierarchy
God is orderly and so is Heaven. It operates under different principles than Earth, but there are rules in effect in which we will have to abide. In the Secret Place course at the Courts of Heaven Academy, we go into great detail about how the Lord revealed what our abilities will be when we arrive. This visit with Jesus showed a few additional details.
We are saved and receive eternal life through confessing Jesus as Lord. It seems if we make an effort, the best way we know how, even if it is at the very end of our lives, it counts. There is a difference between this and being part of the Bride of Christ.
Whoever has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” (John:14:21 ESV)
“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. (John 14:15 ESV)
Love isn’t only a feeling. When you love someone, you are devoted to them. It brings you joy to make them happy. The Bride of Christ are those who love Jesus and endeavor to do what He wants them to do. At a later date, we will explore what it means when John speaks about those clothed in white in Revelation:
Let us rejoice and exult and give Him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His Bride has made herself ready; it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”—for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints. (Revelation 19:7-8 AKJV)
There are “righteous deeds,” something that must be done in this life to earn the white robe to become part of the Bride of Christ. Then it must be “bright and pure” by removing sin, that is “washing our robes in the blood of Jesus.” Even though you may not understand sin because of inadequate teaching or if you only turn to Christ at the end of your life, you are not left out of Heaven. These people become wedding guests.
What you are able to do in Heaven depends upon what you do here on Earth. The New Testament is filled with encouragement to “finish the race” and “store up treasures in Heaven.” Our actions here have eternal consequences. This is a very short life compared to the eternity we will have in Heaven, so we must be about our Lord’s work while there is time.
The term “Bride” refers to cities and people groups, not just women. It means we are tied to and part of Jesus. We have access to intimate private meetings with Him. What would it be like to have direct access to the leader of your nation? It will be even better in Heaven!
We are the Bride and Jesus is the husband, we are subordinate to Him for He is the Head. The Bride will be royalty and have direct access to the King where others may have to wait to be called. It is the difference between being a noble and a “peasant.”
Yes, it would be better to be a “peasant” in Heaven than a king in Hell, but you have an opportunity to be royalty in Heaven. It is your choice: will you learn God's ways and apply them to your life? God designed you for a specific purpose. Are you willing to do what He has created you to do? Once you begin developing a relationship with Jesus, your life will become better, richer, fuller each step of the way!
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. (John 10:10 ESV)

Believers' Boot Camp series
Many people think of boot camp as a place you train for combat. Any veteran will tell you that basic training is about three things:
- Knowing what weapons are available
- Learning how to use those weapons
- Receiving orders and following them
The series uses the Word of God to reveal all that He has given us through Jesus. The Bible is our instruction manual and the Holy Spirit is our guide to understanding it.
Why Doesn't God Speak to Me?
Eager hearts cry out, hoping for a single word to confirm that He hears us. Yet, many times the only sound is silence. Over the years I have heard several reasons why God speaks to some and not to others. One night, as I tossed and turned, I brought each of these reasons before the Lord, stating why each of them did not line up with who I thought He was.
Words rose from my soul, pleading for Him to reveal why He has remained silent when a single word from Him would mean so much to so many. For the next few hours, God used things I learned about years ago and things I had just discovered to show why He talks to some and why He doesn’t, and in demonstrative ways.
In His grace, He also showed me how people could hear more from Him. Basic instructions on how to hear more from God and how to be led by Him are included in this book. Thank you for taking time to consider the answers I received and share with you now.
