The Awakening & the Feast of Trumpets

As discussed in the last post (CLICK HERE to read it) the miraculous sign of the Bible flowing with oil was announcing the Outpouring that would come after the Awakening which began in September of 2017. I didn’t realize it until I began writing about it, but I arrived in Dalton, GA, thanks to flight delays, on the first day of the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah) and God has revealed the meaning of the oil when I am to be delivering His messages on the last day of this feast.

What exactly is the Awakening about? How do we know the Awakening has begun? Those are two very loaded questions, but I will try to address both here in this post.

The Lord had been speaking to me of these things for a couple of years, however, it wasn’t until He revealed the message of the Oil that He fully released the information about the Awakening. I have long known that all of this is tied to the Second Coming of Jesus, to God’s perfect timing of that event, so we need to clear up a few misunderstandings before I get into the details about the Awakening.
“...no one will know the day or the hour…”
This is quoted in many places in the New Testament and many people point this out saying that it is foolish to be concerned about the return of the Lord. If you put the use of these verses into context, it actually says the opposite of the commonly held belief. Here is where you can find those verses and the meanings of them:

Matthew 24
Jesus is talking to a Jewish audience who is asking about when He will come to Earth to rule and reign. This is when He defeats Satan and locks Him away. This is what we will not know the day or the hour.

 2 Peter 3
Peter is clearly talking about the final second coming when the whole Earth shall be changed.

1 Thessalonians 5
This is the first letter written by Paul. In every chapter of this book, Paul talks about the return of the Lord. Many people quote verse two, “For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night…” however if they continued to read just two more verses, Paul clarifies, “But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. For you are all children of light…” It only comes like a thief if you are in darkness!
Remember, God is light so we should know as that day draws close!

The thing we do not know is when Jesus will return to rule and reign. Even though we do not know the exact day, we are clearly instructed to know the seasons and the times. Jesus said,'

"If those days had not been cut short, nobody would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, those days will be shortened..." (Matthew 24:22)

This means that it won't be when people expect.

God’s Feasts

The first 3 feasts of Israel corresponds precisely to the first coming of Jesus. There are several books that explain this, so I won’t go into detail here. Just trust me when I say that every aspect of every one of the first 3 feasts of Israel perfectly corresponds to what happened when Jesus came the first time. The last three feasts correspond to the second coming. These feasts in the order they will occur are:
  1. Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets)
  2. Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement)
  3. Tabernacles (Feast of Booths)
Here we will only discuss the first one: Feast of Trumpets.

Feast of Trumpets

Many believe that the Feast of Trumpets is about the rapture or “catching away” of God’s people because of two things:
  1. The final day of the feast is held on one of two days, so the exact day is unknown.
  2. It is about blowing a shofar and the Bible states that when the “last trumpet” sounds the dead shall rise first then we shall rise to meet Jesus (1 Corinthians 15:52). This is stated again in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 which says that those alive in Jesus will be “caught up together,” which is where we get the Latin word “rapture” meaning “to carry off.”
I have already shown how the first one applies to the Second Coming when Jesus throws Satan out of this Earth, not to the rapture, so it is already taken care of. For the second point, we need to look to God’s people and find out about what the Feast of Trumpets is about.

For orthodox Jews, this feast actually starts on the first day of the month of Elul: the three days most people know as the Feast of Trumpets occurs on the first day of the next month. For an entire month, a trumpet is blown every day to remind Israelites to wake to God and make right any sins against their brothers to avoid judgment. One of the idioms for this day is, “The Day of the Awakening Blast.”

“The Complete Story of Tishrei,” tells us that the 40 days before Yom Kippur are a special time of Divine grace and forgiveness culminating in the next Jewish Feast: Yom Kippur. The sounding of the trumpet on the days preceding Yom Kippur is telling us to return to God and His ways. It is a time of repentance and preparation. The trumpet sounding is to tell us to turn to God, to repent. It is a time of growing close to God through prayer and finding mercy, “Like a newborn innocent child.”

According to the Jewish teachings, the shofar calls unto us: Wake up, there is work to do! This is for those who have been lulled into mental lethargy by unimportant earthly things and have neglected their spiritual needs! The shofar is a shout to "Wake up now! Give your soul a chance!”

It may be important to note that the shofar was sounded when war was waged against a dangerous enemy. It is an Israeli call to arms like war drums. This makes it clear that the blowing of the shofar for the Feast of trumpets is about waking up, not a “final blast” to call us home.

What Does the Feast Mean?

We must know what the feast means to God’s people, the Jews, to know what it means for us. Here are His instructions:
Say to the Israelites, On the first day of the seventh month [almost October], you shall observe a day of solemn [sabbatical] rest, a memorial day announced by blowing of trumpets, a holy [called] assembly. (Leviticus 23:24)
Notice it is trumpets, not a final, single trumpet. On this day the trumpets were blown as a memorial (to remember) the giving of the Law of Moses. This was God’s system of justice before Jesus came. It was also when God made His ways known to His people.

On the actual day of the Feast, the shofar is blown 100 times then the last blast is blown at sunset. These blasts are said to be blown to arouse God’s compassion, reminding Him of a special story: Sisera who lost her only son in battle.

It is customary to sound a long blast as the concluding sound of the shofar in order to confuse Satan and prevent him from accusing Israel of lacking fear of Divine judgment because they eat a festive meal after the services. Hmmm… Satan confused and prevented from gaining ground by accusing people and getting a divine judgment in his favor. Have you heard about the Courts of Heaven and how we are overcoming judgments against us by the blood of the Lamb?

The Feast of Trumpets represents the Awakening that has begun: it is the revelation of God as the Judge of Heaven and Earth and our rightful place in the  Courts of Heaven through Jesus. This is a critical piece that needs to happen before the Tribulation can begin.  In the book of Revelation, it clearly states that:
“...they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death…” (Revelation 12:11)
Notice the legal term, “testimony,” the statements given in the Courts of Heaven. Every time we go into the courts and give testimony, the enemy loses ground. As this revelation spreads, so will the victory of the Body of Christ until Satan is truly overcome!

We need to look at what happened at Mt. Sinai to fully understand what God is doing. Here is what the Bible says about it:

“And the Lord said to Moses, Go and sanctify the people [set them apart for God] today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes and be ready by the third day, for the third day the Lord will come down upon Mount Sinai [in the cloud] in the sight of all the people.” (Exodus 19:10-11)

Washing their clothes is symbolic of removing the stains of sin. God’s glory is often seen as a visible cloud. God is giving us three years to ready ourselves for the Glory that is to come. One year has passed, that leaves two more, this year and the next. When the Outpouring of God’s glory begins in two years' time, you will know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Feast of Trumpets was the Awakening.

Confirming Signs

In 2017 the “American Eclipse” heralded the beginning of the Awakening (CLICK HERE to read that post) The shofars have been blown with the signs in the earth and in the sky. We are in the Awakening. We are to be washing our garments: removing sin from our life, to prepare for the Outpouring - God’s glory pouring out upon this earth for all to see.
The Awakening began on the first day of the Jewish year. It was confirmed by two more signs in the heavens occurring on two Jewish holidays in the first part of 2018:

In the first month of our American calendar: Remember, America is the Lord’s country. On January 31, 2018, an extremely rare sign occurred on a minor Jewish holiday: Tu Bishvat. It was originally called "Rosh HaShanah La'Ilanot" (Hebrew: ראש השנה לאילנות‎), literally "New Year of the Trees."  (CLICK HERE to read about this sign and why it is so rare).  In essence, man is a tree and the Jewish holiday celebrates the awakening to achieve your God-designed destiny.

The second sign occurred at Passover: it was a blood moon. Passover is where we take communion. God supernaturally gave me the “Roadmap to Heaven” in 2016  and the first signpost is “communion.” It isn’t about the bread and the wine, it is about the sacrifice that was made so that we could commune with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (CLICK HERE to read the sign in the Heavens and see the FREE Roadmap book below.)

When we combine these signs with what we know about Awakening, we get a revelation from God:

The Awakening has begun. We are to learn God’s judicial ways in the courts which will lead us into deeper communion with Him to prepare us for the Glory. Simply put, the full meaning of the miracle of the Bible flowing with oil and the American Eclipse is simple and it was first preached by a man known as John the Baptist: Repent, meaning turn back to God’s way of doing things. Prepare yourself (your lamp for the glory of God which is coming) because the coming of the Son is God is at hand: it is right at the door! Prepare yourself now!

What Should we Do?

This is not a time to panic and run around saying: THE END IS COMING! JESUS IS COMING BACK! When has that ever worked? All it does is make us look like crazy fools.

This is not about others, it is about, our relationship with God. We must awake and prepare. God is seen through us, through our actions and our lives, not by words. As you get yourself ready for what is coming, others will notice and be drawn to you because of the change in YOU. There is nothing more enticing than someone who is walking in LOVE and KINDNESS, PEACE, and PATIENCE. As you grow deeper in the things of God, the things of the enemy are removed. This will impact those around you!

Agape Christian Fellowship has heard God’s call. It is our desire that all are prepared for what is coming. We have created the Courts of Heaven (CoH) Academy with step by step, classes that you can work through at your own pace. It is operated under the principles of Matthew 10: It is free to enroll and you decide what it is worth once you receive from God.

Destroying Curses
in the Courts of Heaven

Many people think of boot camp as a place you train for combat. Any veteran will tell you that basic training is about three things:
  • Knowing what weapons are available
  • Learning how to use those weapons
  • Receiving orders and following them
Believer’s Boot Camp series is a collection of books which teach us how to hear more clearly from God with the goal to ready ourselves for a face-to-face meeting with our Lord, Jesus. The series reveals the “weapons and tools” God has given us and how to use them, so we can bring God’s kingdom to Earth. Each book in the series focuses on a single topic to clearly define one tool or weapon from our Heavenly Father.

The series uses the Word of God to reveal all that He has given us through Jesus. The Bible is our instruction manual and the Holy Spirit is our guide to understanding it.

Volume 1: Why Doesn't God Speak to Me?

Eager hearts cry out, hoping for a single word to confirm that He hears us. Yet, many times the only sound is silence. Over the years I have heard several reasons why God speaks to some and not to others. One night, as I tossed and turned, I brought each of these reasons before the Lord, stating why each of them did not line up with who I thought He was.

Words rose from my soul, pleading for Him to reveal why He has remained silent when a single word from Him would mean so much to so many. For the next few hours, God used things I learned about years ago and things I had just discovered to show why He talks to some and why He doesn’t, and in demonstrative ways.

In His grace, He also showed me how people could hear more from Him. Basic instructions on how to hear more from God and how to be led by Him are included in this book. Thank you for taking time to consider the answers I received and share with you now.

Keys to Authority for Every Believer

There is untapped power that is easy for every Christian to access in the form of authority. The keys to this authority will unlock weapons we can use to free ourselves from the attacks of the enemy. We must be intimately aware of the bounds and limitations of our weapon if they are to be used effectively.

Find out about your authority:
  • Why you need it.
  • Where it comes from.
  • What you can do with it.
  • How to get more.
