The 144,000 - All Men?

144,000 Live video

Children of Israel

There are three different people groups spoken of in the Book of Revelation:
  • The World - Non-Christians
  • The Church - All Christians also referred to as “Jews”
  • Israel - Children of Israel (Jacob)

Israel does not necessarily mean the same as “Jews.” Children of Abraham, included those adopted in are “Jews.” Jacob was referred to as “Israel” so Children of Israel are those who are biologically related to Jacob and settled the land called Israel.

After the sixth seal, before the trumpets are released, God addresses the “Children of Israel” in Chapter 7 of Revelation.

After this I saw four angels stationed at the four corners of the earth, firmly holding back the four winds of the earth so that no wind should blow on the earth or sea or upon any tree. (Revelation 7:1 AMPC)

Is a Rapture (Catching Away) in the Bible?

Is the Rapture in the Bible Meeting

Whether you have heard it referred to it as the “Rapture” or the “Catching away of the Saints,” there is a belief among many Christians that some or all of the children of God will escape the terrible calamities prophesied in the Book of Revelation. We must look to scripture to see the truth of this matter.

It is important to remember that we do not have to agree with what is said about this topic. We are saved by our relationship with Jesus as Lord, not by what we believe concerning an impending rapture. Consider this food for thought: May the Holy Spirit bring you wisdom about this topic.

As I meditated and sought the Lord before giving this message, this is what happened in the Secret Place:

Instead of dancing with the Lord in the gazebo, Jesus approached me with his hair standing out widely like a lion’s mane with His eyes ablaze. As that comparison entered my mind, I saw a mountain-sized Lion marching across the word giving a tremendous and mighty roar. People began vibrating and black forms shook off of them. Some shook until a bright light shone forth from them, others shook and melted into either a spiritual death or a physical one. The Lord’s voice echoed in my head, “The Lion of Judah is marching across the land, He is roaring and shaking the Earth. Those who cling to Me will shine forth with My light, those who do not will fall away.”

In prior articles we have discussed the fate of six of seven types of churches. God has told us what He expects them to shake free of. There is one type of assembly of believers of which God does approve, let’s look at that now.

What is the Fate of Your Church?

Live Meeting "What is the Fate of Your Church"

For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter; in the secret place of His tent will He hide me; He will set me high upon a rock. (Psalms 27:5 AMPC)

In this Psalm, David refers to the Secret Place as the “tent” of the Lord. Jesus will visit with us there, not as the Lord who reigns over Heaven and Earth, but as our beloved and our brother.

When I saw Him there last, He asked me to tell you about this realm; a place that our Heavenly Father set apart, where we can see not only Jesus, but Abba (Papa, Daddy) instead of Almighty God and the Holy Spirit, our dear Friend. In order to visit with Him in the Secret Place on a regular basis, we must “overcome” the enemy as described in Revelation. If we will:

  • seek only Him
  • not healing
  • not provision
  • not gifts
  • seek just to be with Him
  • in whatever way He has for us
  • let all else fall aside and fade, focus on Him and Him alone

Then He shall be found, “I long to be with My bride, not as King, but as beloved, here in the Secret Place”

The Future of God's Church - Part 1 (Churches 1-3 of Revelation)

The Future of the Church

Before I began studying the churches in the Book of Revelation, the Lord revealed something to me in the Secret Place. The visit with Him began like many others, with us dancing in the gazebo of the Secret Place. With great excitement, He took me by the hand and said, “I have something I want to show you!”

We ran into the forest surrounding the meadow where the tiny table for tea sits. Deep into the forest the Lord led me into a cave. It took seconds for my eyes to adjust to the glowing light on the cave walls. Jesus led me deeper and deeper into smaller and smaller jagged-walled caverns until we were stooping over, traveling single-file through a narrow passageway. Despite the soft ambient light, the closing in of the walls had me feeling slightly worried as I thought, “What could possibly be exciting in this place?”
