Can We Sue for Damages in the Courts of Heaven?

Heavenly Lawsuit Meetings

If you were part of our Facebook group Courts of Heaven - Worldwide when we first began, then you might have seen and even signed the “Class Action Lawsuit” against the Kingdom of Darkness for financial restitution. I began preparing this for filing in the Courts of Heaven last week by reviewing the document in the Christian Tea and Coffee meeting on Tuesday. When I asked those present to pull up the document in our Facebook group to read along with me, I was shocked to find out the document was missing!

“The enemy must be in our midst… It seems we are under attack!” I said.  I’ve had the Holy Spirit send me interesting messages and confirmation on my computer before… (See that story, CLICK HERE) the Holy Spirit brought me up short and I amended my declaration. “we need to pray for wisdom and determine who is behind this.”
In my head I thought, “If this is you, Holy Spirit, then the person who deleted this file should step forward when I post about it being missing…” If this was a malicious attack, the person would hide. I knew God works in the open, so if this was Him, there would be truth and honesty. The group prayed in agreement for God to give wisdom concerning this matter.

On the drive home, I felt an unease in my spirit. It was like the presence of the Holy Spirit was agitated. This was a new sensation and I was unsure of what it meant. Was the lawsuit upsetting Him or was there an enemy in the group and He was giving warning? Satan works in darkness, I asked the Holy Spirit to reveal who had deleted the lawsuit if it was done through Him. By the time I got home, there was a message for me at Facebook: someone apologized for accidentally deleting the LAWSUIT file.

If you’ve read the free book, Why Doesn’t God Speak to Me?, you know that it is dangerous to follow signs blindly. The next morning when the Holy Spirit woke me up at 5:30 AM: I was thrilled. Before the household was awake and moving, I would be able to spend time praying and talking to Him. It didn’t take long. After praising and worshiping for a while, I broached the topic of the proposed lawsuit in order to sue the enemy for what is owed to us. Immediately two Bible verses came to mind:
Therefore do not worry, saying, "What shall we eat?" or "What shall we drink?" or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (Matthew 6:31-33 NKJV)

Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them... the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith? (Luke 12:24-28 NKJV)
Jesus urges us to trust and have faith in God to take care of things. We must be fully aware of who God is to rest in the surety that He will provide. Over and over again in the Bible we read that “God is just.”

Jesus is contending for you in the Courts of Heaven. When we remove sin and confess for our ancestors, He will remove any generational curses or charges hindering us. We must trust that He will ask for “justice to be done” with cases against us and trusted that God, the Just Judge, knows what is due to us.

To prepare a “LAWSUIT” against the Adversary in the Courts of Heaven is man taking matters into his own hands, like our Father doesn’t know what is necessary. That is an act of pride and very presumptuous. His justice will be adequate.

There are some common factors that hinder our finances. Taking care of a few items may bring the breakthrough you are looking for.
  1. Be in right standing in our finances.
Anytime you participate in the Courts of Heaven, you will want to be in right standing in the courts, especially in connection with the topic you are expecting to be resolved. If you are expecting restitution and justice for your finances and property, you will need to have your spiritual house in order.

This is not a popular topic, but we need to discuss tithes and offerings. Tithing merely means “a tenth part.” It isn’t the most that you should do, it is just the beginning, the basics, like elementary school. Many Christians believe that tithing is under the law so we don’t need to worry about this. Like most things, there is some truth on this. Let us look to the Word of God - the Bible - for our answers.
"A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord" (Leviticus 27:30).
It isn’t one of the ten Commandments, but it is a clear instruction to God’s people about what He expects from those in relationship with Him. Tithes were to be given to the Levites because they had no land; they did God’s work as priests. This is so important to God that there is both a blessing and a curse associated with it:

The Curse

In Malachi God addresses the Levites, the priests who were mishandling the tithe:
"Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me.” But you ask, ‘How are we robbing you?’
“In tithes and offerings. You are under a curse—your whole nation—because you are robbing me.” (Malachi 3:8)
The Blessing
“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try me now in this, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.” (Malachi 3:10)
We are now "priest" with access to the Holy of Holies through our High Priest, Jesus. The storehouse a place dedicated to doing God's work. This is one of the times in the Bible where God says to “test” Him: See if His goodness comes when you tithe and follow His ways. Not tithing limits what God can do. It gives the enemy the ability to add a curse to your life.

This was being said to the priests who were using what was brought in a wrong manor. It applies to every Christian because we are all "priest" under the order of Melchizedek, under our High Priest, Jesus.
For it is witnessed of Him, You are a Priest forever after the order (with the rank) of Melchizedek. (Hebrews 1:17 AMPC)

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own [d]purchased, special people... (1 Peter 2:9 AMPC)
Tithing did not begin with the Levitical priesthood. It can clearly be seen in the life of Abraham.
Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High, and he blessed Abram, saying, “Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth. And praise be to God Most High, who delivered your enemies into your hand.” Then Abram gave him a tenth of everything. (Genesis 14:17-20)
This occurred when Abraham was still being called Abram. This means tithing existed before the Law which was started when the Hebrews left Egypt hundreds of years later. It is God’s supply chain. The New Testament speaks of this:
“For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, met Abraham, who was returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him. To him also Abraham gave a tenth part of all...” (Hebrews 7:1-2)
There was an exchange when Abraham tithed: Melchizedek blessed him Abraham gave a tenth of all he had. Jesus is our High priest under the order of Melchizedek. (Hebrews 5:10) Since Melchizedek received tithes, then so should those who are fulfilling the role of priest (pastor) under Jesus. If the message you are receiving blesses you, teaches you, or guides you into a closer relationship with the Lord then you should be tithing, giving to support those who are dedicating their lives to this cause.

Tithes and offering has been seen in an interesting way in the Courts of Heaven many times we hear “mercenary” as a charge. The word means doing a job for pay. How do you get rid of this charge?

The Holy Spirit revealed that tithing acknowledges God as the one who brings the money to you, not man. It declares that what you have received comes from the Lord. This removes this charge in the Courts. Many believe that  all “curses” passed away when Jesus shed His blood:
“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”)...”  (Galatians 3:13)
Remember these two facts about this verse:

1. The word "curse" is singular. The curse of the Law was that you went to Hell for violating any part of it. This is the curse we are redeemed from when we take Jesus as the Lord. The New Testament is full of encouragement for us to remove sin because it "gives a place to the devil." That place is often a curse.

2. If you know about the Courts of Heaven, then you know that redemption must be applied. We must declare Christ as Lord to receive salvation and we must “plead the blood” to blot out our sins to be free of the curse. If this were not so, why are Christians just as sick and downtrodden as the rest of humanity? (See the free book, Destroying Curses in the Courts of Heaven for more scriptures about this.)

In order to remove charges in the Courts, we must confess our sins and repent, meaning to turn and go the other way. In the case of tithing, this means you can confess that you didn’t do it in the past, and now you know you should have been. Then you must turn to the other way: begin tithing.

2. Increasing your connection to God.

God said that when you rob Him of “tithes and offerings that brings a curse upon yourself. Many Christians today have no idea that there is actually more than tithing… there is an offering.
If we have sown [the seed of] spiritual good among you, [is it too] much if we reap from your material benefits?... [On the same principle] the Lord directed that those who publish the good news (the Gospel) should live (get their maintenance) by the Gospel. (Corinthians 9:11, 14 AMPC)
Let him who receives instruction in the Word [of God] share all good things with his teacher [contributing to his support]. Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap. (Galatians 6:6-7 AMPC)
These verses clearly show who should receive the tithes: those who are bringing something of spiritual value. It also shows that there is still a curse attached to not giving: “Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at.” For this means giving to acknowledge God is not optional. Corinthians backs this up:
“But this I say: He who soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly, and he who soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.” (2 Corinthians 9:6)
I love that this verses shows God is just. However we give, that is how we will receive from God. In some parts of the world, giving a single dollar is a big gift and they will receive bountifully for it. Some people have such abundance that for the same revelation, they would need to give $5000 or more to equal what that single dollar meant for someone else.
There are many different types of offerings that God’s people practiced. To sum it all up quickly, it came down to this simple fact:

An offering is a way of thanking God for something. It could have been a bumper crop in the field, an answered prayer, or a new baby. Many refer to these as “love” offerings. A way of saying “I love you” when God shows up in your life.

There is a system in place that makes giving an offering essential. Material Support was always given when someone brought a revelation from God. This was a gift not to the man, but to God,  acknowledging that He was behind the message.

This was so ingrained in God’s people that a group of Christians asked Paul not to come and speak to them because they didn’t want to have to give him an offering for his teaching. (2 Corinthians Chapters 11 & 12) Giving before you receive the information short circuits this system. Someone who charges before they give a message is lacking faith in God to provide for them, and hinders the flow of the anointing towards His people.

God’s principles apply with offerings of this type as well. When you give because of the revelation about God that was spoken to you, it opens the door for God to move in a greater way concerning that revelation. He who soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly, and he who soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

Many people tithe, but do you give offerings? This is the second half of the equation. It brings blessings from God as you acknowledge Him in all your ways; this includes acknowledging those sent by Him. The amount of the offering should depend on two factors:
  1. How much you have.
  2. How much the revelation/blessing/answered prayer meant to you.
Someone who  has barely enough to survive might give a very small amount, even pennies - the smallest of currencies. This is like the widow who gave the smallest amount possible. Jesus said she gave more than the rich man who brought a huge sum because she gave out of her lack. (Luke 21:1-4)

When to Give

What you give should always be completely up to you. You should never give until you verify what you have received is from God. You do not want to sow on bad ground. This is not being a good steward of what God has given you. Ask yourself:
  • Have you paid for a seat in a conference only to find out that they preached unauthorized authority?
  • Has a church you attended passed a tithe basked before the message was given?
  • Did you give to a message that didn't come from God?
If have done either of these, please consider this scripture:
If anyone comes to your meeting and does not teach the truth about Christ, don’t invite that person into your home or give any kind of encouragement. Anyone who encourages such people becomes a partner in their evil work. (2 John 1:10-11 NIV)
You will need to confess, repent and plead the blood over seeds sown into wrong ground. Ask the Lord to sever all soul ties to those ministries as well.

I once interpreted a dream that illustrates this point beautifully:

Dream:
The prophet was speaking and the words coming out of his mouth would rise. On his head sat a crow that had nested there. This crow was eating each word as it rose.

Interpretation:
Birds are spirits. They can fly around us, but we have to accept them in order for them to build a nest. If this was a good spirit it would be guarding and fulfilling our words. The Bible tells us that words are seeds and birds (the enemy) comes to eat this seed before it can grow and produce fruit. (Matthew 13:4) This is what was happening with this particular prophet.

This man of God would say, “Send a seed of such and such amount and God will do such and such for you.” He was also charging for all his “God inspired, anointed books.” He had accepted the demonic spirit who had whispered these ideas to him when he began operating in this way. Repetitive submission to these ideas made a place for the evil spirit in his ministry which was why it was nesting in his hair (hair represents our wisdom and way of thinking).

This is selling the anointing and blessings of God. The Word of God tells us: that His gifts and anointing are not for sale… you cannot purchase them. This is what Peter said to a man who tried to buy the gifts and anointing of God:
But Peter said to him, “Destruction overtake your money and you, because you imagined you could obtain the [free] gift of God with money!” (Acts 8:20 AMPC)
Notice Peter said it was a “free” gift. That is the way revelations from God should be given to His people. Giving to someone who is charging for what God has freely given will not benefit you. As seen in this dream, Satan will steal each seed, each word said in that prayer and there will be no profit from it. Be wise in where you sow seed when you are looking for a harvest!

If you have read parts of the Old Testament it is easy to see a pattern. When God’s people acted according to His ways, they were blessed and they prospered. When they did not, a curse came. If you are looking for a financial blessing, the answer is not a man contrived Lawsuit, it is being obedient to what God has already said and asking for justice when you claim your freedom through what Jesus did on the cross.

in the Courts of Heaven

Many people think of boot camp as a place you train for combat. Any veteran will tell you that basic training is about three things:
  • Knowing what weapons are available
  • Learning how to use those weapons
  • Receiving orders and following them
Believer’s Boot Camp series is a collection of books which teach us how to hear more clearly from God with the goal to ready ourselves for a face-to-face meeting with our Lord, Jesus. The series reveals the “weapons and tools” God has given us and how to use them, so we can bring God’s kingdom to Earth. Each book in the series focuses on a single topic to clearly define one tool or weapon from our Heavenly Father.

The series uses the Word of God to reveal all that He has given us through Jesus. The Bible is our instruction manual and the Holy Spirit is our guide to understanding it.

Volume 1: Why Doesn't God Speak to Me?

Eager hearts cry out, hoping for a single word to confirm that He hears us. Yet, many times the only sound is silence. Over the years I have heard several reasons why God speaks to some and not to others. One night, as I tossed and turned, I brought each of these reasons before the Lord, stating why each of them did not line up with who I thought He was.

Words rose from my soul, pleading for Him to reveal why He has remained silent when a single word from Him would mean so much to so many. For the next few hours, God used things I learned about years ago and things I had just discovered to show why He talks to some and why He doesn’t, and in demonstrative ways.

In His grace, He also showed me how people could hear more from Him. Basic instructions on how to hear more from God and how to be led by Him are included in this book. Thank you for taking time to consider the answers I received and share with you now.

Keys to Authority for Every Believer

There is untapped power that is easy for every Christian to access in the form of authority. The keys to this authority will unlock weapons we can use to free ourselves from the attacks of the enemy. We must be intimately aware of the bounds and limitations of our weapon if they are to be used effectively.

Find out about your authority:
  • Why you need it.
  • Where it comes from.
  • What you can do with it.
  • How to get more.
